in January! It's College Awareness Month and GEAR UP Hawai'i
is proud to partner with Governor Lingle and many community
partners to share some free college prep resources and events.
To
kick-off College Awareness Month, a mini college fair will
be held at the Ala Moana Center stage on January 5 from 12
p.m. to 2 p.m. Students and parents will have access to college
admission and financial aid advisors and lots of information
from college-affiliated programs including Hawaii Community
Foundation, the University of Hawaii, the Hawaii Association
for College Admission Counseling, and the Pacific Financial
Aid Association.

your college career. Stop by to chat with college admission and financial aid advisors,
pick up tons of free information and college-prep tips, and
enjoy the entertainment and prize giveaways!
- January 5, 12 pm - 2 pm: Ala Moana Center
- January 12, 10 am - 12 pm: Windward Mall
- January 19, 10 am - 2pm: Prince Kuhio Mall (Hilo), together with the "Youth Health & Future Fair"
- January 26, 11 am - 2 pm: Queen Ka'ahumanu Mall (Maui)
