GEAR UP Scholars Program
The GEAR UP Scholars Program is designed to provide programs and services to GEAR UP Scholars statewide. The Scholars Program is active in 25 GEAR UP high schools across Hawai`i, and services are administered through the GEAR UP Hui at each high school. Currently, there are over 5,000 GEAR UP Scholars statewide in the Classes of 2007, 2008 and 2009.

Who are the GEAR UP Scholars?

GEAR UP Scholars are students who:

1) Completed the 8th grade at one of 32 GEAR UP middle schools with a 2.0 GPA,

2) Had no Class A or B offenses,

3) Signed a pledge form along with their parents,

4) and are part of the Classes of 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.
